There's now a feedback box on your profile screen.

If a generated card is wrong, a deck imports badly, or something just feels off, you can now say so from inside the app — open your profile and send a note. It goes straight to Marc, who reads every one.

Multiple choice that doesn't give the answer away

Wrong answers used to stand out. Now they're plausible enough to make you think.

Generated multiple-choice questions had two tells. The correct answer was often noticeably longer than the alternatives, so you could pick it without reading. And the wrong answers were frequently just the right answer negated — "increases" against "decreases" — which gave the game away just as fast.

Both are fixed in how questions get generated. The alternatives are now built to be genuinely tempting: true statements that belong somewhere else in the topic, matched in length and specificity to the correct one. Questions should feel meaningfully harder, in the way that actually helps you remember.

Steadier note scanning

The camera handles failures gracefully instead of leaving you on a frozen screen.

Scanning a page used to fail quietly if the camera was slow to start or a capture didn't go through. The scan screen now tracks its own state properly, tells you when something went wrong, and lets you retry without restarting the app. The capture overlay also lines up correctly on every screen size.

A guided first five minutes

New accounts get a short walkthrough instead of an empty deck list.

Opening Sticky for the first time used to drop you straight into an empty screen with no obvious next step. New accounts now get a brief introduction that explains what spaced repetition is doing for you and helps you build your first deck before you're left on your own.

Streaks on the review bar

Get a few cards right in a row and a flame lights up on your progress bar.

A small thing that turned out to be a nice one. As you get consecutive cards right during a review session, a flame appears on the progress bar and grows with the run. Break the streak and it resets.

It's cosmetic — it changes nothing about how your cards are scheduled — but it makes a long review session feel less like a chore.

Hear any card read aloud

Tap the speaker on a card to hear it spoken, in the language the deck is written in.

Language decks were the obvious gap: flashcards that teach you a word but not how to say it. Every card now has a speaker button that reads the visible side aloud — the question before you flip, the answer after.

Sticky detects the language a deck is written in when it creates the cards, so a Spanish deck is pronounced in Spanish rather than read phonetically by an English voice. Audio for upcoming cards is fetched ahead of time, so playback starts immediately rather than pausing to load mid-review.

Math and science notation that renders properly

Equations, fractions, and chemical formulas display as real notation instead of raw LaTeX.

Anything with an equation in it used to render as unreadable markup — a quadratic formula arriving as a line of backslashes rather than as a formula. Cards now render mathematical and scientific notation properly: fractions, exponents, roots, summations, and chemical formulas all display the way they would in a textbook.

Rendering happens on-device, so formulas display just as fast offline as they do on a connection.
